We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead our HR function and drive strategic initiatives in alignment with our corporate goals. As the HR Director at MHG, you will be responsible for developing and executing the HR strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. You will play a crucial role in defining and embedding the organizational culture while ensuring high employee satisfaction. You will provide strategic HR recommendations to senior management and department heads, influencing key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned with company goals.
- Ensure strategic alignment of HR initiatives across all departments.
Culture Development and Employee Satisfaction:
- Define, embed, and uphold the culture of MHG.
- Monitor and maintain high levels of employee satisfaction.
Strategic HR Advisory:
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and department heads.
- Support decision-making processes with HR insights and analytics.
HR Policies and Procedures:
- Maintain, communicate, and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Recruitment and Nationalization:
- Oversee recruitment processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Manage nationalization efforts in accordance with applicable laws.
Manpower Planning and Budgeting:
- Lead manpower planning and budgeting aligned with business objectives.
Employee Performance Management:
- Develop and implement effective performance management systems.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Review, update, and maintain the compensation structure.
- Ensure fair and competitive pay practices across the organization.
Medical Insurance and Benefits:
- Oversee the annual medical insurance renewal process.
Employee Development and Succession Planning:
- Develop and implement employee development plans.
- Maintain organization succession plans and development initiatives.
Legal Compliance:
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and contractual compliance.
- Take appropriate action to address non-compliance issues.
Government Relations:
- Coordinate with government relations to ensure legal compliance and smooth operations.
Employee Relations:
- Address staff grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters.
Team Management:
- Engage in performance evaluation of direct team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of proven experience as an HR Director or similar executive role in a diversified Retail Group or a multinational company.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with analytical abilities.
- Relevant HR certifications are a plus.
