About the Role

As the HR Manager at LINKVIVA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization by leading all aspects of human resources management across our UAE office. This role requires expertise in the events sector and a deep understanding of the unique HR challenges within this industry.

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.

Conduct recruitment and selection processes, including interviewing, evaluating candidates, and making hiring recommendations.

Coordinate and facilitate the interview process with stakeholders.

Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.

Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.

Advisory and Consultation:

Provided expert advice and consultation to both employees and management on HR-related matters, offering guidance on compliance, policy and labor law interpretation, and best practices to ensure optimal workforce management and organizational success.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

Primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

Mediate and resolve employee conflicts or issues.

Promote a positive work culture and foster employee engagement initiatives.

Oversee organization of team-building activities, social events, and recognition programs.

Monitor employee satisfaction and implement strategies for improvement.

HR Reporting and Metrics:

Develop and implement strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the management and department heads, fostering a performance-driven culture and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Regularly analyze and refine KPIs to enhance individual and team performance.

Performance Management:

Support the performance management process, including goal setting and performance evaluations.

Assist managers in addressing performance-related concerns and implementing improvement plans.

Provide guidance on performance improvement strategies and professional development.

Training and Development:

Identify training needs and work with management to develop relevant training programs.

Coordinate and facilitate employee training sessions and workshops.

Encourage continuous learning and career development opportunities.

HR Policies and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations both in UAE and KSA

Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.

Conduct periodic audits to ensure HR practices align with company policies and legal requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:

Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, performance bonus and other benefits

Manage payroll and timesheets for all employees and freelancers.

Regularly review and benchmark compensation packages to remain competitive in the market.

Employee Data Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.

Manage and oversee visa process through the AXS portal.

Employee Offboarding:

Facilitate the exit process for departing employees and freelancers

Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.

Other HR Projects and Initiatives:

Explore opportunities to use automation for streamlining other HR-related projects and initiatives.

About you

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of HR Management within the events industry
  • Strong knowledge of local UAE labour laws and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to build effective teams and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • HR Certification (e.g. SHRM, CIPD) will be highly advantageous.
