About the role
As a Human Resources Officer, you will provide support to HR Business Partner / Generalist in the area related to employee relations, disciplinary, performance management, employee benefits, HR reports, employee engagement initiatives and separation. In addition, the incumbent will support with the implementation of HR projects.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in carrying out disciplinary and grievance activities, including investigating incidents, supporting investigation meetings and drafting of reports for management review and approval.
Support the implementation of reward and recognition programmes to improve employee engagement.
Work with QDFC line managers and admin teams, assist to communicate and implement HR policies and procedures and new initiatives in relation to performance management, disciplinary investigations absence management, etc.
Support in collecting data for HR reports or/and any other HR related matters, proposing actions or solutions for process improvement.
Promote employee engagement and assist employees with all HR related queries, ensuring information provided is accurate and offered in a timely manner.
Assist with composing correspondence and memorandum, reports and documents.
Monitor the conduct of probation reviews, perform spot check on the quality of the appraisal, communicate necessary observation and actions to line managers ensuring quality reviews are carried out for all employees by the line manager, and it's submitted in a timely manner in accordance with company standards.
Establish and maintain confidential filing system ensuring HR documentations and trackers are up to date and secured for audit purpose.
General HR administrative support for line managers and employees within HIA, Warehouse, Head office and HR department if required. Set up, organize and maintain department records so that they are easily retrievable by department members.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About you
High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3-4 years of job-related experience
Previous work experience in Retail/Customer Service/Hospitality/Travel Industry
Knowledge of HR Systems like Oracle.
Proven ability to work under pressure to defined time scales.
Proven experience in demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business.
Well-organized and detail oriented.
Good communication including written, verbal and listening skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
MS Office Skills such as Excel report creation
Stakeholder communication
Preferred
PowerBI experience
Reporting and analysis experience, specifically working with people analytics data/HR data.
