JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a personable, adaptable, and dynamic Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have experience in the HR & Employee Relations function with experience in leading change and building lasting employee relationships within a business, as well as a good understanding of the HR department functions and requirements. The focus of this role is to identify requirements within the department and develop new and innovative ways to reduce staff turnover rates and improve overall morale.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree is required preferably in business or any related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing all Employee Relations services such as NOC letters, loans and all other miscellaneous requests to ensure employees satisfaction levels.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding Employee Relations issues, providing timely guidance and support.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and disputes through effective mediation and negotiation techniques, fostering positive outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations, conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Conducting surveys, organizing events, and facilitating feedback channels.
- Assist in performance management processes, including coaching managers on performance-related issues.
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to develop training programs on Employee Relations related topics.
- Maintain accurate records of Employee Relations cases, investigations, and outcomes, preparing reports and analysis for management review.
- Keep abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to employee relations.
