Have minimum of 10 years experience in Substation Primary Design Engineering including but not limited to:
- Preparing S/S equipment and building layout including cable routing, cable trenches, cable duct banks, etc.
- Preparing main single line diagram and AC/DC single line diagram.
- prepare grounding calculations.
- checking all equipment layout drawings and their electrical parameters in line with project and specification requirements.
- calculation and sizing of S/Ss primary equipment including AC/DC auxiliary system.
- Preparing all electrical inputs for civil design.
- Preparing power , control and auxiliary cable schedule.
- Ensure all safety clearances of indoor and outdoor equipment and buildings.
- Awareness of related electrical international standards (I.e. IEC and ANSI)
