Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Hydraulics Engineer to join our team. The Hydraulics Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing hydraulic systems and components, ensuring their optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in hydraulic engineering, a solid understanding of fluid mechanics, and a proven track record of successful hydraulic system design and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hydraulic systems, components, and equipment, ensuring that all designs adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough analyses and simulations of hydraulic systems, assessing fluid dynamics, pressure distribution, and flow rates to identify any design flaws, inefficiencies, or potential improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, design teams, and project managers, to integrate hydraulic systems into larger engineering projects and ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Test and validate hydraulic prototypes and models, conducting performance evaluations, stress tests, and quality assessments to verify the reliability and performance of hydraulic components and systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams and technicians during the production and assembly of hydraulic systems, ensuring that all assembly processes adhere to design specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance and troubleshooting protocols for hydraulic systems, providing recommendations for preventive maintenance, repairs, and component replacements to ensure long-term system durability and performance.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and manuals, and provide training and support to internal teams and clients on hydraulic system operation, maintenance, and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Proven work experience of at least 10 years in hydraulic engineering, with a strong focus on designing and analyzing hydraulic systems.
- In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics, hydraulic system design principles, and hydraulic modeling software, with a solid understanding of hydraulic components and their applications.
- Proficiency in CAD software and tools for hydraulic system design and simulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex hydraulic data and provide effective solutions for hydraulic system optimization and performance enhancements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Experience in the field of project management of flood and rainwater drainage networks, open channels, box culverts, pipes, dams...etc.
- Preferable to be fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
