Role Description
We are seeking a talented and self-sufficient Illustrator Animatorto join our creative team. This role requires an individual who is not only skilled in illustration and animation but also possesses leadership and project management capabilities to guide the creative direction of an entire production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire design project, ensuring smooth collaboration with team members, and making key decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the project: Take on the role of project director, overseeing the development of the animation project from start to finish.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the character animator to ensure the animations align with the visual style and goals of the project.
- Creative Direction: Provide guidance and make key creative decisions regarding the overall direction of the project, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and messaging throughout.
- Illustration & Animation: Motion Graphics and Illustration assets for the project, maintaining high-quality of illustration and animation standards.
- File Management: Collect, organize, and compile all project files.
- Project Compilation: Assemble the final video, making sure all elements come together smoothly in the final product.
- Team Management: Coordinate with various team members (designers, animators, sound, etc.), provide feedback, and ensure the project is on schedule.
- Quality Control: Ensure the project meets high standards of quality and aligns with the scripts and objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Illustrator and Animator, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
- Experience in managing and directing creative teams and projects.
- Proficiency in Illustration and animation software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to make quick, decisive creative decisions to drive the project forward.
- Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of the project.
- Experience in compiling and exporting final video projects.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of storyboarding and animatics.
- Experience with 2D animation and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
