FEER McQUEEN is looking for a talented Illustrator to join the team in Zouk Mosbeh! In this role, you'll create original illustrations for animated characters, backgrounds, and keyframes. You'll work with animators and designers to develop concept art, storyboards, and style guides, ensuring visual consistency. Your job will be to bring visuals to life and deliver high-quality assets while meeting deadlines and project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Create original illustrations for animated characters, backgrounds, and keyframes based on project briefs.
- Develop concept art, storyboards, and style guides to ensure visual consistency throughout the animation.
- Collaborate closely with animators, art directors, and designers to bring visuals to life in motion.
- Translate creative direction into visual assets while maintaining deadlines and project requirements.
- Iterate on sketches and drafts based on feedback from directors and team members.
- Ensure all illustrations fit the projects narrative, tone, and style, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in animation and illustration to continually improve the quality of work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Animation, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Illustrator in the animation industry or similar role.
- Proficient in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and illustration software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of illustration styles and work within animation projects.
- Experience with storyboarding and concept art creation.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality illustrations under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of character design, anatomy, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with animation principles is a plus
- Frame-by-frame animation is a plus.
