Your future role:
To lead the efforts aimed at achieving IMI localization mandate, establishing the local maritime ecosystem, maintaining, and developing long term relationships with suppliers. This role acts as the technical and commercial interface between suppliers and IMI.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and update IMIs localization strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Develop IMIs suppliers attraction incentive package to attract reputed foreign suppliers to establish their manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia.
- Work with potential suppliers to develop and approve their localization plans and to monitor the implementation of suppliers approved localization plans to ensure the localization targets are achieved.
- Cooperate with other local localization program associations to avoid overlapping while attracting suppliers.
- Assist suppliers in identifying local sources of raw materials as required.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 9-15 years of relevant experience in contract procurement role.
- Certification in Contract Management or related field.
- Good knowledge of Supplier Relation Management.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently.
