Job Purpose:
- To ensure that all mechanical and pressure testing related activities are safely, effectively, and efficiently carried out in accordance with applicable technical requirements, company policies, procedures, and the Management System requirements.

- Review, verify, and interpret materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints, to determine inspection and test requirements.
- Tests and measures finished products, components, or assemblies for functionality, operation, accuracy, or to verify adherence to functional specifications. Read dials and meters to ensure that equipment is operating according to specifications.
- Mark items for acceptance or rejection, record test results and inspection data, and compare findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards. Discards or rejects products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
- Ensure that all installation activities for the mechanical and pressure testing department are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, client specification and/or other applicable technical documentation. Ensure Preservation of all project equipment is carried out as per Company standard as well as Vendors recommendation.
- Completing and endorsing all inspection records from initial inspection till final acceptance of the various mechanical and associated work, practical application of engineering science and technology to ensure smooth mechanical operations including use of techniques, procedures, and equipment from the design stage to production of various parts and final assembly/release to clients.
- Maintaining interface with the Client to ensure that all contractual and code requirements are met as far as the inspection scope is concerned.
- Determine and develop all standards and procedures necessary to perform inspection and tests on items and oversee all testing methods while maintaining high standards of quality for all processes.
- Develop method statement for activities (when necessary) including risk assessment, job safety & environmental analysis, Inspection & Test Plan and Checklists based on project specifications.
- Knowledge in mechanical equipment installation and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.
Who we are looking for
Education:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
- At least 9-11 years experience, relating to quality works of marine engineering industries (ship & rig - buildings)
Languages:
- English. (Mandatory)
- Arabic / Others (desirable)
