Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Incident Management Coordinator to join our team. Incident Management Coordinator - ITS develops and implements incident response strategies, ensuring quick and efficient traffic incident handling.
What You'll Be Doing
- Incident Command: Serve as the incident management point person for the TMC, coordinating with first responders and field personnel during roadway incidents.
- Traffic Incident Response Planning: Develop and implement response strategies for different types of traffic incidents, aiming to minimize response time and traffic disruptions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Work with emergency response, law enforcement, and transportation agencies to ensure coordinated incident management.
- Training and Preparedness: Provide training for TMC staff on incident management protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Post-Incident Analysis: Review incident response effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements based on lessons learned.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Public Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in incident management, with demonstrated experience in TMC or emergency response settings.
- Experience with multi-agency coordination and crisis management.
