We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Informatica Big Data Management Developer and Security Architect to join our client. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in developing and designing solutions using Informatica Big Data Management tools, along with a strong background in data security and architecture. The role requires deep technical expertise in Big Data ecosystems, security solutions, and Agile development methodologies, with a focus on ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, security, and compliance within large-scale infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage Big Data solutions using Informatica Big Data Management.
- Utilize Oozie scheduling, HQL, Hive, HDFS, and data partitioning for optimal data management processes.
- Work extensively with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring seamless data storage and retrieval.
- Configure and optimize Linux OS, including shell scripting for automation tasks.
- Implement design patterns for efficient development processes, ensuring scalable and maintainable codebases.
- Drive Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices across teams using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Solve and troubleshoot issues in distributed services ecosystems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Design, build, test, and implement security systems, addressing potential gaps and vulnerabilities in current and proposed architectures.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and best practices, focusing on exploits, vulnerabilities, and the corrective actions required to mitigate risks.
- Design security controls for data transfer processes (e.g., CRON jobs, ETLs, JDBC-ODBC scripts) to safeguard data integrity and privacy.
- Leverage networking knowledge (DNS, Proxy, ACL, Policy) for troubleshooting and securing data flow across infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., data encryption, anonymization, policy control features).
- Implement solutions for handling sensitive data in logs and in-memory storage, ensuring no exposure of sensitive information (e.g., card numbers, PII).
- Develop wrapper solutions for legacy components to meet bank security standards and compliance.
- Lead teams in technical decision-making, mentoring, and providing guidance to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Stay updated with best-in-class technologies through research and benchmarking.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of development and design experience in Informatica Big Data Management.
- Proficiency with Oozie scheduling, HQL, Hive, and HDFS (including storage controllers and data partitioning).
- Extensive experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Expertise in Linux OS configuration and shell scripting.
- Strong experience in Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of distributed services resiliency and monitoring in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with security solutions, including vulnerability analysis, threat management, and implementing security protocols.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and security compliance standards, especially in a banking or financial services environment.
- Ability to influence multiple teams, driving best practices and standards across the organization.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in Banking, Financial, or FinTech sectors within an enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of compliance regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) related to data handling and security.
