Job Summary
IQ Data is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes with a strong focus on Informatica integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL processes focusing on seamless Informatica PowerCenter integration.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business needs.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues promptly to maintain data integrity.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, recommending improvements to processes and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, strongly emphasizing ETL and Informatica PowerCenter.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Java for data manipulation and scripting tasks.
- Experience with data warehousing, modeling, and big data technologies (a plus).
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
- Understanding of data security and privacy principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
