Job Summary
IQ Data is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes with a strong focus on Informatica integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL processes focusing on seamless Informatica PowerCenter integration.
Collaborate closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business needs.
Build and optimize data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources.
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues promptly to maintain data integrity.
Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, recommending improvements to processes and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, strongly emphasizing ETL and Informatica PowerCenter.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Java for data manipulation and scripting tasks.
Experience with data warehousing, modeling, and big data technologies (a plus).
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
Understanding of data security and privacy principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
