Informatica Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Informatica BDM Developer to join our client team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Development and Designing, a strong understanding of SDLC strategies, and a proven track record of driving results.

Knowledge & Experience:

Degree, Post graduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

Minimum + years of development and design experience in in Informatica PowerCenter/Power Exchange & Big Data Management(BDM)

Seeking a highly skilled Informatica BDM Developer- Sr. Data Engineer/Data Engineer who has experience with ETL Informatica, SQL, Scoop, Hadoop, Spark, and Hive

Skills:

Implement Informatica BDM mappings for extracting data from multiple data sources to Data Lake.

Creating customized BDM mappings/workflows for incremental using Informatica Developer and deploy them as part of an application on Data Integration service for the native execution or push down using the Hive/Blaze/Spark execution engines.

Design & development of BDM mappings in Hive/Spark/Blaze mode for large volumes of INSERT/UPDATE

Medium to complex quality rule design, development and implementation patterns with cleansing, parsing, standardization, validation, etc.

Self-motivator and self-starter, Ability to own and drive things without supervision and works collaboratively with the teams across the organization

Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness, by sharing deep knowledge and experience

Knowledge of tools such as Sqoop, Flume, and Kafka.

Excellent knowledge of performance tuning in SQL and Informatica.

Experience in complex ETL Mappings to load data using transformations such as Source Qualifier, Sorter, Aggregator, Expression, Joiner, Dynamic Lookup, and Connected and unconnected lookups, Filters, Sequence, Router and Update Strategy.

Have excellent soft and interpersonal skills to interact and present the ideas to team. The engineer should've good listening skills and speaks clearly in front of team, stakeholders and management. The engineer should always carry positive attitude towards work and establishes effective team relations and builds a climate of trust within the team. Should be enthusiastic and passionate and creates a motivating environment for the team.
