We have a challenging opportunity opened up for the role of IT Audit Consultant in our Technology consulting practice.
Our Technology consulting practice undertakes IT risks and controls assessment, IT Service Management and Information Security Management Consulting, infrastructure and network reviews, information security reviews etc. for clients.
IT Audit consultants work in a client facing role and take on the responsibility of identifying, assessing and monitoring IT security risks by developing a risk management plan and strategy. They assist clients in addressing compliance, financial, operational and strategic risk. They work in teams to provide high-quality execution of IT audits, risks and controls assessment, application audits, infrastructure and network reviews, information security reviews related projects for clients across a wide range of industries. Typical projects comprise of conducting reviews of systems, processes and internal controls. Provide recommendations to clients for improvement or remediation and draft reports on gaps & key issues requiring redress.
IT Audit consultants demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge by staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. They establish deep relationships with client personnel (at appropriate levels) by understanding client's perspective and become the de-facto go-to-person. Their work output is expected to be of outstanding quality. They constantly monitor project progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop a strong market connect in public and private sector and across industries like Banking, Financial Services and insurance, Telecom, Media and Technology, HealthCare, Energy and Utilities, Government, , Real Estate and Manufacturing;
- Lead and contribute in developing and executing sector specific go-to-market strategies;
- Support clients (C-Level & Business Heads) in establishing business case for IT Security and consulting engagements related to , ISO 27001, NIST, NIA and COBIT or other such related standards;
- Help better establish in the domains of Cloud Security and Operational Technology;
- Train and provide guidance to junior staff in their areas of work for all round development;
- Lead engagements and drive (internal, client and third party vendor mix) teams in program execution;
- Work with internal stakeholders in articulating customer situations, extracting the best solution proposition for the customer and in ensuring customer delight;
- Support new and start-up engagements working with the wider team within the client organization;
- Provide hands on strategic direction setting, architecture design and support the build out/hire of new teams in key accounts; and Represent Protiviti at key regional industry forums.
Desired Profile
- Preferred candidates will be Cyber Security specialists or IT Audit Specialist with broad business perspective and insights. Must be knowledgeable of latest Cyber Security trends and developments.
- Minimum 1-4 years of Cyber Security /IT Audit/ Information Security consulting/implementation experience. Interested candidates should have core competencies and experience in one of the following areas:
1- Cyber Security Governance and Operations
2- Identity Access Management and Privileged Access Management
3- Cloud Security
4- Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems
5- Data Security, Data Privacy and GDPR
6- Security investigations, digital forensics, eDiscovery
- Exposure to ISO 27001 / COBIT / NIST / CIS / OWASP / NIA standards and frameworks
- Bachelor's in engineering /master's in information security / Cybersecurity / Computer applications with an MBA.
- Possess strong Industry domain knowledge in one or two vertical industries e.g. Telecom, BFSI, ENU and HealthCare.
- Professional certifications in information security management such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC, GICSP or others. Program delivery leadership and experience.
- Ideally a mix of experience in clients and experience in vendor / service companies / leading consulting firms in Middle East region.
