Job Description

  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies to protect the organizations data and systems from cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and recommend security best practices across the organization.
  • Guide on setting up firewalls, encryption, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and other security measures.
  • Train staff on cybersecurity awareness to prevent security breaches caused by human error.
  • Design and configure network architecture, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks, to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Monitor and maintain network security, addressing issues such as unauthorized access, network outages, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure the implementation of network protocols and configurations that meet organizational needs and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in setting up and managing cloud-based networking solutions to enhance remote work capabilities.
  • Evaluate, design, and optimize IT infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization) to ensure it supports the organization's growth and operational needs.
  • Oversee infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and the deployment of new systems to enhance performance and reduce downtime.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure critical infrastructure can be restored in the event of a system failure or data breach.
  • Recommend and manage the integration of cloud infrastructure solutions, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, where appropriate.
  • Assess the organization's hardware needs and recommend suitable upgrades, including servers, workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Oversee the procurement, installation, and configuration of both hardware and software, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
  • Ensure that all hardware and software systems are regularly updated, patched, and optimized to minimize performance issues and vulnerabilities.
  • Manage software licensing and ensure compliance with vendor agreements, while advising on the best applications to enhance productivity.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, ensuring that users experience minimal disruptions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • 8 Years of experience in IT consulting or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on client outcomes.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and participate in project implementation.
