Job Summary:
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing IT projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. You will manage project resources, communicate with stakeholders, and mitigate risks to achieve project goals efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and Deliver the assigned projects within the approved time, budget, scope and targeted quality.
- Enhance the delivery TTM.
- Find innovative solutions to overcome the project obstacles.
- Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects.
- Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel.
- Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel.
- Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards and authorities and group regulation.
- Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback.
- Develop or update project plans for the assigned projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
- Drive identifying, reviewing, or selecting vendors or consultants to meet project needs.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans.
- Align with project personnel to identify and resolve problems
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree and preferred in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience in related field.
- Previous experience in managing security and infrastructure related projects in major plus.
- Servant leader and ability to work on both strong regulated and non-regulated environments.
- Effective communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills.
- Effective Problem solving techniques.
- Sound judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems. Able to use common sense in the appropriate context, and able to stay calm under pressure.
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate with a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing technical environment.
- Require the ability to work with little to moderate supervision; the ability to take quick decisions and escalate as and when needed.
(PMP or similar certificate (ex. PRINCE II) is a plus.)
