As an IT System Administrator is a professional who ensures that all employees have the technology, they need to get their job done, from a reliable laptop and VPN access for remote workers who can't be reached otherwise, to up-close coordination with other departments like HR or finance so data is secure. You will ensure the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software used within a company.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of an IT Manager include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, hardware, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, security updates, LANs and WAN's
- Leading IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Managing the Avaya IP phone setup & upgrading files if any
- Maintaining and servicing the bluerhine screen for display at the reception
- Preserving assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
- Coordinating technology installations, maintenance and upgrading the internal IT infrastructure as per requirements
- Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary
- Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively
- Generating performance reports for operating systems
- Coordinating for the development of websites and content development for Starglobal, Atro and Jahaz
- Managing web hosting and business emails for group companies (Godaddy and Gsuite)
- Preparing stationary designs from online portals for the group for businesscards. logos and letterheads
- Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
- Monitoring network utilization and performance, implements procedures for network optimization, reliability, and availability
- Coordinating with existing ERP vendor (tally) for data migration for all companies
- Attending training from ERP vendor for each module and aligning organisational processes with the erp
- Creating user roles as per the department and level
- Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices

Responsible for Software Selection and Data Enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services
- Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
- Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including server, office, and exchange
- Management and leadership skills
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible working hours
