WSP is seeking a qualified Infrastructure Inspector for a tunnel and bridge project in Madinah. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements. This position is reserved for a Saudi national with a strong background in infrastructure inspection and construction..
Your new role, what's involved
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection and Supervision:
Conduct regular inspections of construction activities related to tunnel and bridge projects.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
Monitor and report on the quality of materials and workmanship.
Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures and guidelines.
Identify and document any deficiencies or deviations from project requirements.
Recommend corrective actions and ensure implementation.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections, tests, and construction activities.
Prepare and submit inspection reports to the project manager.
Assist in the preparation of progress reports and documentation for client review.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations on the construction site.
Participate in safety meetings and promote a culture of safety among workers.
Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to inspection activities.
Technical Expertise:
Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and technologies related to tunnel and bridge construction.
Provide recommendations for process improvements and innovative solutions.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in infrastructure inspection, specifically in tunnel and bridge projects.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and quality standards.
Familiarity with local and international construction codes and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in inspection tools and software.
