WSP, a leading global engineering and professional services firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced MEP Inspector to join our team in Riyadh. As an MEP Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations within our prestigious infrastructure project.
Your new role, what's involved
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Compliance: Conduct thorough inspections of MEP installations, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of MEP work, materials, and equipment used, promptly addressing any deviations from established standards.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records and documentation of MEP installations, inspections, and non-conformance reports. Ensure all relevant data is appropriately recorded.
- Safety: Promote a culture of safety by identifying and addressing safety hazards in MEP installations, actively participating in safety meetings, and assisting in incident investigations when necessary.
- Coordination: Collaborate effectively with MEP contractors, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless MEP installation processes.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, deviations, corrective actions, and progress updates for project management.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges encountered during MEP installations promptly, working collaboratively to find practical solutions.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an MEP Inspector in infrastructure projects.
- Proficient knowledge of local MEP regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring quality and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse project team.
- Familiarity with relevant MEP software and documentation tools.
