Job Summary
The Technician works in the New Installation Field Operations. His main task is to install in time according to our installation procedures and to maintain the tools & equipment as per quality requirements of the company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to all safety and compliance rules of the company
- Reports immediately all safety violations, hazards and issues to the supervisor and participates in rectification of the same
- Read mechanical/electrical drawings, setting out, installation, testing and commissioning of lifts & escalators
- Installs mechanically and electrically, coordinates and supports for all interfaces, testing and commissioning and making equipment ready for hand over
- Reach the schedule by the AIM and the supervisors following the installation procedures of the company
- Protect materials, tools and installation from damages, losses, and theft
- Proper maintenance of the tools and equipment on site
- Report all quality concerns to the supervisor
- Demonstrate high level of safety practices always
- Proper maintenance of his PPE's including request to supervisor for replacement if PPEs are damaged
- Ensure quality of installation is according to company quality standards
- Uses regularly, company provided mobile devices and log into the system (View, OPMO, etc.) for timely and accurate reporting
- Attends and completes on time all assigned trainings and other activities
