Capital Raiser - Real Estate, Institutional Clients
We are partnering with an investment management business based in Dubai, to hire their first Capital Raiser, specifically focusing on global institutional clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the institutional investor community, a deep understanding of real estate investments, and proven expertise in capital raising.
Key Responsibilities:
Capital Raising Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive capital raising strategy to secure investments from institutional clients.
- Align fundraising initiatives with the firm's overall growth objectives and specific real estate projects or funds.
Investor Relations & Network Development:
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, including family offices, pension funds, and endowments.
- Leverage existing network and establish new connections within the institutional investment community.
Pitching & Presentation:
- Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, presentations, and marketing materials tailored to institutional investors.
- Articulate the firm's investment philosophy, track record, and real estate offerings, highlighting unique value propositions.
Due Diligence & Compliance:
- Manage due diligence processes for prospective investors, including data provision, Q&A, and coordination with internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support documentation for investment agreements.
Market Analysis & Strategic Positioning:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, investor preferences, and competitive positioning.
- Provide insights to refine investment products and strategies to align with market demand.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field.
- MBA or CFA preferred.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in capital raising or business development within real estate investment, private equity, or asset management.
- Demonstrated success in securing significant capital from institutional clients.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of real estate investment products and capital markets.
- Exceptional networking and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in creating investor presentations, financial models, and pitch materials.
- Ability to articulate complex investment strategies clearly and persuasively.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
