What You Will Be Doing
- Design and develop engaging, learner-centered, performance-based training materials in various formats, including videos, interactive SCORM modules, game-based learning, job aids, and instructor-led training (ILT).
- Recommend learning objectives, conduct learner assessments, analyze performance outcomes, and select evaluative methods for instruction. This includes consulting with program owners and subject matter experts to identify performance gaps and objectives.
- Create impactful learning experiences by choosing suitable formats such as ILT and VILT, blended learning, interactive eLearning, simulations, video modules, gamification, and performance support resources.
- Create and review storyboards developed by team members to ensure quality, adherence to standards, and instructional design accuracy.
- Maintain awareness of operational processes to ensure content accuracy and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Design visually engaging content, working closely with graphic designers to ensure visuals align with instructional storyboards for effective output.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as instructional design, learning and development, or educational technology.
- 2+ years of experience in instructional design, including expertise in developing training solutions (eLearning, storyboards, job aids, online tutorials, and assessments).
- Proficiency in content creation tools like Articulate and Camtasia.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience collaborating within a team of instructional designers, graphic designers, SMEs, or trainers.
- Skilled in project coordination and timely delivery across multiple teams.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and corporate learning deployment. (Preferred)
- Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, performance improvement, project management, or relevant content certifications. (Preferred)
- Experience developing and deploying content for learning apps. (Preferred)
