Instrumentation & Automation Engineer to join an owner's engineering team for an industrial wastewater treatment plant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Location: Jubail Industrial City
Duration: 38 months
Rotational Leave: 91 days on duty / 16 days off duty
Working schedule: 10 hours per day, 6 days per week

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring of EPC Contractor's activities,
- Review, comment and approve EPC Contractor's Engineering specifications and Equipment technical specifications.
- Design and Engineering documentation review,
- OWNER's Project Schedule monitoring and update,
- Site and Construction activities supervision,
- Site walkdowns and punching activities,
- Site and Quality Inspections (including inspections at Manufacturer workshops),
- Testing and commissioning supervision,
- Plant Startup supervision and verification of performance guarantees,
- Defects identification, and verification of EPC Contractor's corrective actions,
- Attendance up to the end of all warranty periods, or as deemed decided by OWNER
- Representing OWNER in meetings with EPC Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors
- Spare parts and special tools inspection
- Project Management, including:
Cost Control
Schedule Control
Variation management
Claims resolution
Insurance claims management
Site Management
Vendor's management Project Administration
SKILLs & COMPETENCIES Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized University
- 7+ years direct and relevant experience related to management of EPC Projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industry, WasteWater Treatment plants etc.
- 5 years of Construction and Site Experience
- Minimum 2 years in Management position. Management of Multidisciplinary profiles.
- Relevant international experience in major EPC Project > 100 Million USD
- Knowledge of the American codes and standards example : ASME, API, ASTM, ASHRAE
- Bidding and tendering experience in major tenders is a plus
- Basic design and FEED Experience in Major Projects is a plus
- Experience in Interface management
- Experience in International Standard Contracts (FIDIC, NEC), is a plus.
- Middle East Experience is required
