Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Waffar orders and Insurance Order Processing: Receive and review insurance orders, verifying patient information, prescription details, and
  • insurance coverage. Ensure accuracy and completeness of insurance documentation
  • Claims Approval: Facilitate the approval of insurance claims by accurately completing and submitting required documentation. Liaise
  • with insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies in claims processing
  • Fulfillment Coordination: Coordinate with pharmacy staff to fulfill prescriptions according to insurance guidelines and patient needs
  • Ensure medications are dispensed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage, co-payments, and prior authorization requirements
  • Documentation and Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of insurance transactions, claims, and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and pharmacy standards for record-keeping and documentation
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, resolve issues, and assist with insurance-related concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws governing insurance billing, reimbursement, and patient confidentiality
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with pharmacy team members, including pharmacists, assistants, and support staff, to optimize workflow efficiency and quality of service.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and initiatives to improve patient care outcomes

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required. ( preferably 2023 grad )
  • Proven work experience in insurance
  • Knowledge of insurance processes and regulations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
