Responsible for the national management of Finished Goods inventory flow in accordance with the company demand forecast, budget constraints on freight and warehousing cost, as well as working capital targets. The owner of service to sales and the interface between Sales, DCs, Sales Bins, Plant and Distribution teams. Responsible for the GCC Snacks freight account and productivity targets on freight driven by longer term load planning and load levelling.

Responsibilities

Accountable for all planning inputs from the Market into S&OP

  • Oversee business planning, and in particular annual volume planning which includes interfacing closely with Customer Service, CD and Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain Planning teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor business impact of demand and supply plans created by GBS and challenge where necessary to meet business performance targets

Collaboration:

  • Interface with CD, Marketing and Finance organizations on short to long-term assumptions and opportunities
  • Point of escalation for trade off decisions on a day-to-day basis which are outside of the GBS Hubs level of authority

Operational Management:

  • Manage the in-Market Planning team for the Category
  • Responsible for the overall stock availability for the Category
  • Monitor and ensure actions are closed on waste prevention for Finished Goods and Packing and Raw Materials
  • Support GBS Planning and BU factories and issue weekly production requirements plan to plant schedulers in line with factory capacities. Through effective communication and priority setting ensure that 95% plan adherence and 98.5% service to sales is achieved with focus on warehouse space management.
  • Management of the Finished Goods inventory requirements according to the demand forecast applying a balanced flexibility approach, with the aim to achieve 98% raw material supply to factories as well as 98.5% service to sales. Give consideration to supplier lead-times on raw materials when executing plan changes.
  • Play a key role in the execution of new product development and promotional activities to ensure a smooth phase in/out of activities and inventories on finished product.
  • Ensure effective execution of the DRP and MPS. Consideration has to be given to Bin location, customer service area and order size to facilitate achieving agreed delivery targets agreed with Sales.
  • Responsible for the annual budget process, and 3-year strategic plans on Finished Goods supply.
  • Manage the GCC Snacks Supply
  • Lead a weekly Supply Chain Improvement meeting with peers and counter parts to create transparency and an understanding of supply chain service to sales. Ensure that pro-active solutions are implemented daily through close communication with Plants, DCs, RSMs, Bins and staff members.
  • Keep record of product write-offs and act according to the authorized delegated authorities and audit requirements
  • Create cross-functional synergy between different departments to support a wider involvement in supply chain towards a fully integrated supply chain execution.
  • Pro-actively implement change through the Change Management process and provide on-going support to Project Leaders.
  • Produce freshness profiles to the business on a regular basis with the aim to seek solutions with the aim to minimize write-offs.
  • Manage stock profiles for finished goods with GBS Planning in accordance with Company working capital targets and AOP and revise in accordance with the Blue Skies policy.
  • Support the sales demand planning process and ensure only the consensus forecast is used in the execution of all inventory
  • Work with all Plant and Distribution teams to ensure integrated capacity planning for future forecasted
  • Ensure PepsiCo Audit compliance with regards to Finished Goods planning and replenishment and Primary Freight
  • Liaise with Distribution Management to develop the most cost-effective delivery solution to meet service and cost
  • Accurate line item management with sales teams and warehouse administration team to ensure correct ordering and forecasting of new and de-listed
