Purpose of Job
Jobholders at this level carry out specific tasks independently but are subject to close supervision. They research, collect and analyze information, draft reports and documents, participate in specific meetings and develop their own professional expertise. They undertake simple operational activities including collecting data, analyzing raw gathered data, and analyzing travelers and shipment data.
Job Resposiblites
Intelligence Planning and Performance
- Coordinate with international associations such as the INTERPOL and law enforcement authorities of neighboring countries to ensure continuous exchange of information
- Coordinate with risk functions to ensure continuous interactions and exchange of information collected from risk engines
- Receive and filter data from various resources associated with cross border activities such as INTERPOL lists and social media channels, and update data base for future references
- Conduct detailed analysis reports based on the filtered data, document findings and results to ensure proper interpretation
- Build risk matrices in coordination with risk functions, to ensure proper risk management when dealing with critical cases
- Evaluate referred reports and leverage updated database to provide requested guidance and support to Security Affairs functions
Information Analysis and Reporting
- Identify potential individuals and shipments that require inspections in collaboration with risk functions and based on Risk Engine findings
- Provide support to the Intelligence operations function when dealing with sensitive cases to ensure adequate and fast resolutions
- Develop risk profiles and perform detailed intelligence analysis, by coordinating with Risk Center, in line with concerned regulations, rules, and procedures
- Develop security intelligence analysis reports, archive, document and disseminate to relevant governmental entities and law enforcement agencies
- Develop reports highlighting performance results, security intelligence findings, and dispatch to Deputy of Security Affairs Authority and Political and Security Affairs Council for briefing if required
Organization and Operations
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
- Perform other duties as requested
