The project:
A major urban development project comprising of new homes, commercial properties, public spaces and smart urban mobility. Mace have the opportunity to develop and lead and implement the PMO structure to deliver this city development.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying project interface requirements.
Identifying likely significant impacts.
Identifying and proposing mitigation measures.
Suggesting, contributing to, and leading where required development of adoption of industry standards and innovative solutions.
Supporting resolution of issues through workshops and or meetings.
Manage the interface between the various program work streams and departments.
Responsible to identify the interface, ensure the boundary is clearly identified and understood as per the contractual documentation, ensure the interface handovers are clearly identified in the schedule, and develop the interface management protocols for the delivery teams.
Develop an understanding of and communicate the interface risks and how they should be best allocated and managed.
Responsible for resolving interface problems and driving forward the timely escalation of matters unresolved through relevant working groups.
Support the identification, review and ongoing management of interrelated risks.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You'll need to have:
Relevant degree qualification.
Proven ability to manage/ influence a large group of senior technical personnel.
Ability to drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality and process improvement.
Proven experience working on city development, programme, projects.
Knowledge transfer and mentoring experience.
You'll also have:
Professional membership or working towards demonstrable professional or personal development.
Experience in the successful delivery phase of relevant projects and programmes.
Programme management expertise.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
