Job Description - Interior Designer Responsibilities:
Developing design concepts based on sustainable materials and eco-friendly design solutions
- Creating detailed drawings and plans for interior spaces and sample/presentation board.
Selecting furniture, fixtures, and finishes.- Developing budgets and timelines for projects.
Coordinating with contractors, architects, and other professionals
- Inspecting and supervising work progress
Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.- Staying up to date on industry trends and developments
Researching and sourcing materials and products
- Creating presentations and reports for clients
Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.- Preparing rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
- Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations.- Operational knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup and 3D Studio Max, Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Good knowledge of construction and design principles
- Familiarity with digital photography and photo enhancement
Analyse rough sketches and interpreted specifications to develop 2D and 3D draft.- Developing 2D & 3D block, Photoshop & 3D design development.
- Experience & Educational Requirements:
Degree or certification in architecture from technical college/university.- 5 years Experience in Office planning with added knowledge in medical environment.
