Job Description & Summary

A career in Office of General Counsel, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be a part of the Firm's legal department by providing dedicated legal support in the areas of litigation, counselling, and corporate, commercial, and employment law. You'll play an important part in all aspects of regulatory proceedings involving the Firm and its personnel by supporting on regulatory issues, advising the Firm on matters relating to its operations, supporting the Firm's client contracting function, and advising on matters related to employees.

As part of our team, you'll help with researching background information related to legal issues and prepare legal documents. You'll focus on drafting contracts or legal agreements, retaining files of prepared legal documents, and coordinating requests between internal and external counsel.

Legal Research: Conduct legal research on a wide range of issues, including case law, statutes, and regulations.
Document Preparation: Assist in drafting legal documents, such as briefs, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
Case Management: Help organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and other clerical duties as needed.

As an intern, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
. Assist with all internal and external OGC/Legal related matters.
. Participate in explaining legal guidelines and procedures.
. Assist revising employment contracts.
. Raise complaints brought forward by employees.
. Produce and submit reports on all requested OGC activities.
. Brings on new ideas to save cost or/and increase people satisfaction, other strategies based on requirements.
. Keep up to date with the latest best legal trends and practices.
. Brief understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations
. Familiar with Google programs (sheets, slides, docetc)
. Efficient Legal administration skills
. Analytics skills and reporting systems.
. Record-keeping skills.
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Arabic).
. Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
. Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
. Creative thinking in the digital field and strategy formulation, able to learn new analytics software.
. Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
