The Role:

As the Internal Communications and Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within RSG Hospitality (RSGH). You will have the creative freedom to craft compelling narratives, engage our diverse team members, and drive alignment with our brand values. This is a unique opportunity to lead dynamic projects and contribute to the success of a developing luxury hotel management company.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Employee Communications Strategy: Connecting colleagues with our purpose, strategy, and values. Be responsible for the vision, development, and execution of communication & engagement programs in partnership with cross-functional teams across RSGH. Work with the wider RSG Global Corporate Communications to drive an always-on internal communications rhythm.

  • Partner Management: Serve as a trusted internal communications advisor to key business leaders. Coordinate with various external-facing teams and industry awarding bodies (Marketing, PR, social, product marketing), to further amplify our RSGH story of our employees. Monitor and manage online and offline platforms (Careers website, LinkedIn, Glassdoor etc.) to ensure a positive and consistent brand image. Ability to influence and inspire change across the company in a significant way.

  • Thought Leadership: Drive consistency in all messaging, advancing RSGH's corporate narrative to inspire and inform employees regarding our purpose, products, policies, and employee experience. Design a variety of engagement activations (fireside chats, get to know series etc.) for employees to build strong connections.

  • Compelling Storytelling: Inspire through authentic, relevant, and timely content, to help attract top talent and retain key employees. Prepare presentations and communication materials for events, career fairs and conferences to enhance RSG Hospitality's brand. Foster a sense of belonging and pride among team members by highlighting achievements, milestones, and initiatives.

  • Innovative and Engaging Communication Assets : Amplify this content via crisp, effective, high-quality assets including email, internal community social channel posts (Microsoft Teams), long and short form copy for a new intranet, in-person and hybrid events, podcasts, videos, animations, and more.

Person Specification:

The person appointed in this role will need to demonstrate a breadth of skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in both traditional and emerging media and channels.
  • Innovative thinking, not afraid to take risks and push RSGH in new directions.
  • Exceptional communication capabilities, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate nuanced issues, strategies, and briefs clearly.
  • Inherent curiosity, with an appetite for an exciting opportunity on a fun, collaborative team.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or Business Management and significant relevant work experience.
