International Tax Professional - Gulf
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Tax professional to join a fast-growing international ecommerce business that are expanding quickly across the Gulf, they are looking for someone to join their international Tax team. This will be a fast-paced role and they are looking for someone that can grow with the firm. They are particularly looking for someone with direct and indirect tax experience with a focus on VAT and transfer pricing.
The role can be based in their Dubai or Riyadh, and they are looking to pay around 30,000-40,000 AED per month
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations, as well as keeping abreast of changes that may impact the organization.
- Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns and related documentation for chosen entities and the region.
- Plan, and monitor all tax rules are properly followed, tax risks are effectively managed, tax returns are accurate, and tax obligations are minimized to maximize profitability.
- Advise the correct application of CIT, VAT and customs based on the flow of goods and services for KSA and UAE mainly.
- Reply to tax related questions coming from internal teams and external parties such as merchants.
- Constant implementation of our business model.
- Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring timely responses
- Work closely with Local finance teams to assist them for any tax related issue.
- Liaise with external tax advisors/ consultants.
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum 6-8 years experience as advisors in multinational environments.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English.
- Demonstrable experience in the international tax field and both direct/non-direct taxation with emphasis on VAT, transfer pricing.
- Broad experience in project and solution delivery
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with a team player mentality.
- Broad experience in project and solution delivery of key enterprise applications & solutions, e.g. ERP,, Data-Warehousing, tax planning and forecasting solutions.
