As a VC Investment Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our investment team, contributing closely to the fund's strategy. This position offers a unique opportunity to be a key part of our growing fund, with ample room for personal and professional development.
Responsibilities:
Origination & Deal Flow Management
- Source high-quality deal flow through various channels.
- Manage deal flow generated by the investment team.
- Conduct thorough screening due diligence on investment opportunities.
- Stay current on the latest industry trends.
Due Diligence & Investment Execution
- Assist in due diligence efforts, meeting with entrepreneurs to assess business plans.
- Support the optimization of financial models for potential investments and help draft investment memorandums.
- Present investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with investment team members in deal execution, including negotiations.
Portfolio Management
- Track, update, and report on portfolio performance.
- Maintain transaction documents and portfolio materials, ensuring comprehensive record-keeping.
- Develop reports to investors, providing clear insights into fund performance and opportunities.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in finance, economics, business, or engineering.
- Previous experience in venture capital, startups, finance, or consulting.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, including strong research and analytical abilities.
- A strong intellectual curiosity, driving you to explore new opportunities and challenges.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with entrepreneurs.
