Job Description

Red Sea Gateway Terminal International (RSGTI), Red Sea Gateway Terminals (RSGT) associate company and its global investment arm is responsible for all international investments in ports. RSGTI is backed by Saudi Arabias Public Investment Fund (PIF), one of the largest sovereign wealth funds globally with $925B of assets under management as of 2023. PIF has a track record of further investing in countries where it has been able to make an entry through one of its portfolio companies. Other important shareholders include Xenel Industries and Sustained Infrastructure Holding Company (SISCO), listed on the Saudi stock exchange.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for conducting thorough financial research, analyzing market trends, and providing actionable insights to support investment decisions. This role is crucial in identifying potential investment opportunities, assessing risks, and maximizing returns for our shareholders. This role requires a keen analytical mind, strong financial acumen, and a deep understanding of various investment vehicles and markets.

  • Drive RSGTs new concessions and investments strategy towards its emergence as a key regional and global port operator.
  • Evaluate and analyze identified investment opportunities and participate in deal closures.
  • Proposal Development: Coordinate the preparation and review of proposal documents, developing responses to RFQs/ RFPs, including technical proposals, pricing schedules, project plans, and other supporting materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with bid and stakeholder requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, economic data, and market trends to evaluate the financial performance of potential investment opportunities
  • Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast investment performance, analyze investment scenarios, and evaluate potential outcomes.
  • Investment Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential investments.
  • Investment Recommendations: Prepare and support investment recommendations and insights to senior management, investment committees, or external stakeholders, supported by thorough research and analysis.
  • Stakeholder Management: Developing and maintaining government stakeholder relations in Saudi Arabia and its diplomatic missions globally.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree. A Masters degree from a reputed institution is a significant advantage.

Professional experience:

Minimum 10 years of full-time experience relevant to the key responsibilities including the below:

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Mature messaging and presentation skills towards internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with business development functions with a global terminal operator or in the ports sector in general.
  • International exposure is an advantage.

Languages:

High proficiency in English is a must.

Travel:

Must be ready for travel domestically and internationally.
