Investor Relations Manager - UAE National - Government Entity
We are delighted to be working with a large Energy focused Government Entity in Abu Dhabi, who are recruiting for an Investor Relations Manager.
Please note this role is reserved for UAE Nationals only.
The purpose of this role is to support the publicly listed portfolio companies of the group, focusing on Equity and Debt activity , including listed bonds.
Debt Capital Markets experience is advantageous preferable for this role. Backgrounds in fixed income analysis, DCM banking etc would work well.
Responsibilities:
- Stay well-informed on industry trends, financial performance, and stakeholder expectations, conducting peer and market analysis to provide timely updates and insights within the company.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports, along with detailed analyses, on listed instruments within the Group. Maintain IR website standards to ensure top-tier disclosure practices.
- Gather data, conduct assessments, and foster communication channels internally and with equity and fixed income representatives across the brokerage and investor community to maintain awareness of market movements and primary influences.
- Contribute to the drafting and updating of investor materials for internal and external use by the IR team, ensuring timely, precise, and complete documentation within the bounds of applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Track and document feedback from current and potential investors, participating in investor outreach and marketing activities for the Group and its affiliated entities as needed.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in investor relations, and ensure these are consistently applied throughout the Group.
- Work with Corporate Communications on investor events and external publications across various media platforms, assisting in crafting effective messaging and assessing public perception.
- Support the development and monitoring of performance metrics for the IR function within the Group and its associated entities.
- When required, analyze the Group's listed companies and industry sectors, monitor comparative valuations of listed subsidiaries over time and relative to peers, and contribute to investor engagement strategy reviews across the Group.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Exposure to IR, and DCM is required
- UAE National
- Big 4 or Banking background is preferable
