Position Overview:
As an IoT Pre-Sales & Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for engaging with potential clients during the pre-sales process and overseeing the successful implementation of IoT projects. Your role will bridge technical expertise and customer-facing interaction, ensuring that our IoT solutions are aligned with client needs and delivered to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Support: Work alongside the sales team to identify customer needs and provide technical insights during the sales process. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to explain the functionality and benefits of our IoT solutions
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and objectives. Provide tailored IoT solutions that address specific needs and offer value-added insights
- Technical Documentation: Prepare technical proposals and documentation, including system architecture designs and implementation plans that align with customer requirements
- Project Implementation: Supervision the implementation of IoT solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of IoT systems to ensure proper functionality and performance. Address any technical issues that arise during the implementation phase
- Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to clients and end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize the IoT solutions delivered. Respond to technical inquiries and assist with troubleshooting post-deployment
- Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from clients post-implementation and work with the product team to recommend enhancements or adjustments based on user experiences
- Market Insights: Stay informed about IoT industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings, contributing to the company's strategic planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IoT systems, pre-sales support, or technical implementation roles
- Strong knowledge of IoT technologies, protocols, architectures, and platforms
- Experience with software and hardware integration, including sensors, data acquisition systems, and cloud-based solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to various audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in conducting feasibility studies and designing system architecture for IoT applications
- Problem-solving capabilities and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus
