About the Role

We seek a highly experienced and qualified Irrigation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation engineering principles and practices, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining irrigation systems for various agricultural projects.

Responsibilities

* Irrigation System Design: Develop comprehensive irrigation system designs tailored to specific crop requirements, considering factors such as soil type, climate, water availability, and topography.

* Automation Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of fully automated irrigation networks, including hardware and software integration, data analysis, and remote monitoring systems.

* Crop-Specific Irrigation: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various fruit types and their unique irrigation needs. Develop and implement irrigation schedules, water quality management, and fertigation programs to optimize crop yield and quality.

* Team Management: Oversee a team of irrigation technicians, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure efficient operations.

* Data Analysis: Utilize irrigation data to monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize water usage.

* Cost Management: Develop and manage irrigation budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.

* Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and industry standards related to water management and irrigation practices.

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation management and design.

* Proven expertise in designing and implementing fully automated irrigation systems.

* In-depth knowledge of various fruit crops and their irrigation requirements.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency in irrigation software and data analysis tools.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.
