A leading national oil corporation is dedicated to the sustainable development, utilization, and monetization of oil and gas resources. Department: Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
Responsibilities :
- Establish and implement ICT Governance, Risk, Compliance, and performance management frameworks.
- Improve ICT Department performance and demonstrate value to the business.
- Develop and implement IT Service Management policies, procedures, and methodologies.
- Engage in audit risk assessments and agree on annual audit plans.
- Track and report on audit actions, ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct ICT risk assessment activities in line with the Corporate ERM framework.
- Monitor compliance activities and ensure adherence to ICT Governance procedures.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 8 years in enterprise IT, preferably in Oil & Gas, with at least 5 years in IT Governance and IT Service Management.
- Experience in designing and improving IT Governance and IT Service Management policies.
- Knowledge in formulating IT Governance objectives and deriving these from IT initiatives.
- Implementation experience with IT Governance, Audit, Risk, and Compliance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, COSO, CMMI).
- Understanding of internal and external auditing techniques and Enterprise Risk Management methodologies.
- Experience in ICT process improvements utilizing frameworks like COBIT and six sigma.
- Awareness of IT industry trends, particularly in Oil and Gas.
- Ability to plan and achieve defined objectives independently.
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Effective participation in a multi-cultural and multi-national workforce.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver consistent results.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Preferred certifications: ITIL V3 Expert, ISO 2000 Lead Implementer/Auditor, COBIT Design and Implementation, ITIL 4 Managing Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
