JOB PURPOSE:To control all aspects of systems and software administration including networks, applications, databases, and ERP systems to support Play Cinema employees towards achieving their day-to-day goals and objectives together with New projects.
- KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic:
Support IT Director in development of short and long-term strategic goals and activities, as needed Operational:
Manage Play Cinema software programs in terms of development, installation, maintenance, support, upgrades and training employees.
Identify software application needs for Play Cinema functions based on department feedback.
- Responsible for creating, changing and deleting user accounts per request.
Ensure data confidentiality, integrity and availability for all departments within Play Cinema.
- Ensure development and installations of reliable applications, networks and databases for all core and support functions and manage technical integration of existing and new e-services.
Ensure all workflows, technical standards and processes are thoroughly documented in policy specific manuals.
Provide training to all end users on various applications.
Act as a help desk for all other departments and provide technical support when needed in terms of software problems.
- Provide IT support to the online ticketing system, on-site Kiosks, and mobile applications
Handle the integration process between Front-Office application (VISTA) ERP (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) as per the IT Director directions.
Maintain and update the organization website and coordinate with the IT Director and movie marketing and the brand marketing functions for content to be uploaded.
Conduct periodic checks to ensure continued effective running of software applications and that any problems are proactively dealt with.
Continuously recommend software upgrades to various software applications used in Play Cinema as per the company evolving business and security needs.
Develop purchase request for required software and communicate with the IT Director and Procurement Administration Department on processing purchase requests.
Coordinate the relationship with third party developers, vendors and service providers.
Coordinate with the Hardware IT Officer on memory requirements and hardware specifications required for new software and systems.
Strong IT skills
- Thorough understanding of the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) system
- Thorough understanding of the VISTA system
Desktop support, networks, disaster recovery skills and knowledge
- Knowledgeable with all IT software used by Play Cinema

Pay: QAR12,
- 00 - QAR14,000.00 per month

Experience:
- Vista System: 3 years (Required)
* MS Dynamics: 3 years (Preferred)
