Job Description

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for Corporate and Private Banking online platforms/projects technical activities from understanding the requirements given by business and operations, validating the feasibility, communicating them to the software vendors for development, handling the received releases, perform deployments/validations on the test environments, and then handing it over to the business counter parties to perform UAT. In this position, the candidate will also be responsible for the 24/7 platform availability, troubleshoot production incidents/implementations, and take them to closure. The candidate should have strong communication skills, technical skills on eChannels, application servers, and different operating systems.

Accountabilities and Key Roles :

  • Being part of a project team that understands the importance of the delivery timeline.
  • Translate the business and operational requirements into technical requirement, and validate the feasibility if implementation.
  • Handling the relationship with the vendor to ensure the requirements are well understood, to ensure clean software delivery.
  • Work closely with the IT Teams that are responsible for the integration layers and architecture to ensure the best design is in place.
  • Monitor and analyze the system's performance by identifying areas for improvement, ensuring accountability and proactively address issues either internally or by reporting them to the vendor and tracking them to closure.
  • Oversee the change management process for all changes, ensuring they are assessed, authorized, and implemented in a controlled manner.
  • Implement and manage an effective escalation process to handle high-priority issues.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, management, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on expectations and service delivery.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Focus on enhancing the customer experience by monitoring the services, implementing issues prevention controls, and staying relevant with the latest technologies.

Experience:

  • (2-3) years of experience in a related field.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.

Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of eChannels platforms, web and mobile apps, basic banking principles, application servers such as Apache Tomcat, and technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders and diverse audiences.
  • Experience with various application and web servers such as Apache Tomact, IBM WebSphere Application Servers, Apache HTTP Server, and IBM HTTP Server, basic maintenance, tuning, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with various operating systems such as IBM AIX and Linux RedHat.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL Databases, writing complex queries, reading AWRs, and preparing reports.
  • Experience with mobile apps publishing is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions during emergency situations.
