IT Field Technician

Technical Support:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Provide technical assistance and training to end-users.

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.

Maintenance and Repairs:

• Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment and systems.

Replace or repair defective components and hardware.

• Ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.

Network Support:

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.

Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues.

• Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all work performed and issues encountered.

• Document solutions and create user guides and support documentation.

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their technical needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Project Support: Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.

• Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Education:

Any degree or diploma

Experience: Previous experience in a technical support or IT field technician role.

• Skills:

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.

Knowledge of networking concepts and equipment.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are preferred.

• Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry computer equipment.

Valid UAE drivers license and reliable transportation for on-site visits & delivery.
Working Conditions:

• Regular travel to client sites.

Possible weekend or evening work to perform maintenance or respond to emergencies.

• Combination of office and field work, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Salary:

• Salary ranges based on experience, typically between AED 2500 to AED4000 per month.
