The IT Network Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. The role involves configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing network components, such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points, to ensure reliable and secure data communication.
The minimum requirements for the vacancy are as follows:
- Degree in IT or similar discipline.
System-related professional certifications required CCIE/CCNP- Minimum of 6 years of experience in network and security management
Extensive experience with Cisco network devices and technologies
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
Strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF routing, L2/L3 switching and server load balancing- Experience with QoS, MPLS and network monitoring tools
Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with social WIFI devices such as CISCO MSE and Cisco Prime
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to details- Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
