Purpose of Job
Jobholders at this level are responsible for leading work activities and working autonomously with minor direction towards predetermined long-term objectives.
Jobholders might act as internal consultants and facilitators through providing guidance to deliver and perform operational activities.
Their main operational role includes including providing expert support in the development of IT networks design and capabilities. Lead the development of IT networks RFPs. Supervise the assessment of the change requests related to IT networks. Review the actual performance of ZATCA IT Networks components against set of KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.
Job Responsibilites
Networks Design
- Follow latest trends and cutting-edge technologies, collect business and technical requirements, assess current ZATCA IT networks, identify design gaps and challenges and develop new detailed IT networks design ensuring all business requirements are addressed
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with all stakeholders, interpret the requirements to finalize the development of RFPs related to IT networks, and contribute in the evaluation and selection of vendors based on set criteria in cooperation with relevant functions
- Receive change requests related to IT networks, conduct proper analysis and prioritization of the received change requests, provide recommendations and set schedule for implementation in cooperation with relevant functions
- Collect needed inputs to conduct IT risks assessment and analysis that could occur through the introduction of new technology and accordingly collaborate with IT Infrastructure & Networks Planning & Monitoring to develop the needed risk mitigation plan
- Receive periodical reports on the actual performance of ZATCA IT Networks against set of KPIs, analyze the performance reports, and provide recommendations to improve the IT networks performance
Organization and Operations
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
- Perform other duties as requested
People Management
- Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff
- Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes

Eductaion
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is required
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
