The IT Security & Network Operations Engineer is a crucial member of the cybersecurity team responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day security operations of an organization. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, leading incident response efforts, and ensuring the organization's systems and data remain protected against cybersecurity threats. The IT Security & Network Operations Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish security/Network controls, detect and respond to L3 security incidents, and maintain a high level of security awareness throughout the organization.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT security or related roles.
- Proven experience in leading and implementing advanced security controls and solutions.
- Expertise in advanced security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Advanced understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in advanced security tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in network security technologies and concepts.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Switching CISCO & Huawei & Aruba
- NAC Huawei & Ivanti
- Firewall Fortigate, Checkpoint, Sophos.
- Effectiveness of advanced IT security controls and measures.
- Reduction in advanced security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Successful execution of network and communication projects and upgrades.
- Timely response and resolution of network and communication incidents.
- Compliance with network security policies and standards.
- Vendor and third-party assessments and compliance ratings.
- Contribution to the enhancement of network and communication policies and procedures.
