This role will:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring adherence to established project plans and methodologies (SDLC, Agile, etc.).
- Drive project success by delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting all defined scope requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive client intake sessions to capture and clarify both business and technical needs of L&D/Educational solutions.
- Define clear project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring project feasibility and alignment with client expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project performance against baselines, identifying and implementing corrective actions for any potential issues or deviations.
- Manage and effectively communicate changes to project scope, schedule, or costs, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including clear communication of progress, milestones achieved, and potential risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, meeting minutes, and risk logs.
- Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to junior team members and external stakeholders based on skills and expertise.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, inspiring innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and address individual team member strengths and weaknesses, making adjustments and providing coaching for optimal performance.
- Oversee all aspects of L&D/Educational project lifecycles, including client intake, scope definition, budget management, and team leadership.
- Build strong relationships with all project stakeholders and proactively manage expectations through clear, consistent communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT field (CS, IS, etc.) with relevant certifications (PMP, ITIL, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager
- Expertise in complex technical development, software tools, and database design
- Strong knowledge of systems, architecture, server infrastructure, etc.
- Experience in implementing large-scale L&D/Educational solutions (LMS)
- Familiarity with open-source technologies, cloud technologies, and web application deployment
- Excellent communication, proactiveness, self-motivation, and detail-oriented
- Ability to build relationships, negotiate, influence, and manage multicultural teams
