Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workplaces, networks, office equipment, and associated software. This role is crucial to ensuring a seamless IT environment and supporting smooth business operations for our clients in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware and Software Management
- Install, configure, and maintain necessary hardware and software for business operations.
- Oversee the setup and support of workplace hardware (PC/laptop) and office equipment, including copiers, printers, and scanners, for both on-site and customer sites.
- Configure and administer Microsoft products, including Windows, Office 365, Entra AD, Exchange, and Intune.
Troubleshooting and Support
- Diagnose and resolve OS and workplace-related issues locally and through remote access tools.
- Manage support requests, troubleshoot user problems, and provide solutions to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Conduct network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity and network issues.
IT Service Management
- Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions, ensuring adherence to change management processes.
- Analyze IT business processes, anticipate future requirements, and identify areas for enhancement.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve IT processes and enhance automation.
Documentation and Process Improvement
- Stay current on IT advancements to enhance existing solutions and improve processes.
- Participate in creating and updating IT process regulations and technical documentation.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support IT functions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining workplace hardware (PC/laptop), local networks, office equipment, and associated software.
- Proven experience in administering Microsoft products (Windows, Office 365).
- Experience in Azure administration, including Entra AD, Exchange, and Intune.
- Knowledge of Apple products.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, switching, and routing.
- Preferred certification in one or more of the following: CCNA, MS-900, or ITIL.
