Al Haktur IT Solutions is seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional technical support to our learners, staff, and faculty, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to learners, staff, and faculty both in-person and remotely using appropriate tools.
Support physical and virtual classrooms, as well as external and internal events, by collecting requirements, preparing, testing, and providing on-site or remote support.
Regularly maintain and update the hardware and software inventory.
Monitor and maintain audio and video systems, ensuring regular system health checks and executing corrective actions when necessary.
Offer hardware and software support for desktop computers and other end-user devices, such as printers and scanners.
Contribute to special projects by collaborating with team members, completing individual deliverables, and documenting progress as required.
Conduct end-user testing of various applications and systems to identify and report software defects or inconsistencies.
Log, follow up, and close technical support tickets in a timely manner.
Report any information security incidents or suspicious behaviors to the relevant authorities.
Adhere to internal and local information security, health, and safety laws, regulations, and procedures.Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.Education:
Bachelors Degree in computer engineering, computer science, IT, or a related field from an accredited university.
Additional certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Apple, etc.) are a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Mac, and general desktop support.
Experience with end-user devices like printers and scanners.
Knowledge of audio and video systems, including projectors and mixers.
Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS and TCP/IP.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Strong customer care skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
