JOB CONTROLLER (Automobile Maintenance)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient utilization of materials, equipment, and labor in the workshop to ensure that services and repairs are carried out to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor the progress of jobs in the workshop and promptly inform the service reception of any delays or issues.
- Implement and supervise the daily checklist for the workshop, ensuring adherence to 5S principles.
- Ensure fair allocation of jobs to technicians, mechanics, and supervisors, maintaining adequate staffing levels to achieve workshop objectives.
- Maximize the utilization of equipment and labor to achieve high productivity output.
- Develop strategies to improve productivity in alignment with the growth plan.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing workshop to achieve the highest standards of workshop presentation.
- Collaborate closely with service department personnel to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify the training and development needs of workshop personnel in consultation with the process controller.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of technicians daily service time records.
- Undertake all other tasks and responsibilities as requested by the process controller and technical manager.
- Prepare daily reports on technician efficiency, highlighting slow and fast performers.
- Identify employees not working in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job descriptions and report them to management.

Experience:

- At least two years of experience in an automotive workshop as a job controller
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field, or a diploma in automotive engineering
