We're looking for joinery carpenter
Joinery Work: Fabricate, assemble, and install wooden structures and components, including doors, windows, staircases, and cabinetry.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from technical drawings and plans to accurately produce joinery pieces.
Material Selection:
Choose appropriate materials and tools for each project, ensuring quality and durability.Quality Control:
Inspect and measure completed work to ensure precision and compliance with safety and quality standards.Maintenance: Carry out repairs and maintenance on existing joinery and furniture, addressing issues as they arise.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on progress.
Health & Safety:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in joinery and carpentry.Skills:
Proficiency in using joinery tools and equipment, including saws, routers, and planers.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of joinery techniques and materials, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Attention to Detail: High level of craftsmanship with an eye for detail and precision.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the joinery process.Communication:
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work well within a team and with clients.Certifications: Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in joinery or carpentry preferred.
